About This Course

The Infection Control Trainer course qualifies you to deliver accredited infection prevention and control training to healthcare and care staff across Ireland. Infection control is a critical component of patient safety in Irish hospitals, nursing homes and community care settings.

This course is fully adapted for HSE Ireland infection prevention and control guidelines, HIQA standards, and national clinical guidelines. On completion you will hold a CPD-certified trainer qualification accepted by Irish healthcare employers, HIQA-registered services and HSE community care providers.
