About This Course

The PAT Assessor course qualifies you to carry out portable appliance testing (PAT) and deliver electrical safety training in Irish workplaces. Electrical faults are a leading cause of workplace fires and electrocution injuries in Ireland — regular PAT testing is a key control measure under Irish health and safety legislation.

This course is adapted for the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (Part 3, Chapter 1) on electrical safety. On completion you will hold a CPD-certified PAT Assessor qualification accepted by employers across all sectors in Ireland.
