About This Course

The AED Trainer course qualifies you to deliver automated external defibrillator (AED) and CPR training in Irish workplaces and community settings. Cardiac arrest is a leading cause of workplace death in Ireland — having trained AED users on-site dramatically improves survival rates.

This course covers the theory and practical skills required to train others in the use of AEDs, combined with adult CPR. On completion you will hold a SafeCert Level 3 AED Trainer qualification accepted by employers and regulatory bodies across Ireland.
